East of England Ambulance Service (EEAS) provides the usual 999, urgent care and Patient Transport services (PTS) that all ambulance services provide. Its main catchment area is Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Norfolk and Suffolk.

EEAS employs almost 4000 staff and has the help of more than 2500 volunteers operating from over 110 stations and standby locations including 3 control centres

EEAS answers around 700,000 emergency calls a year and completes around 1,000,000 PTS journeys using,
